(IV Pioneers Museum hosting a book presentation)...It will be held at 6:30 this evening at the Museum.

The presentation is Poli Flores Jr's debut novel. In The Shadow Of The Sun is currently a finalist for 2023 Book of the Year, Fiction/Mystery Innternational Latino Book Award.. The moderator for the event will be El Centro Mayor Martha Cardenas Singh, with special guest Thomas Henderson, a Vietnam Vet. Henderson was an Army Captain in Vietnam and current member of VFW Post 9305. Flores will be at the event to answer questions and sign copies of his book. A discussion on the Novel will also be held. Refreshments will be served.
