El Centro Police responded to a residential burglary early Tuesday morning.

A home in the 100 block of N. 3rd Street had been burglarized. It was reported that two safes were taken. The safes contained cash, jewelry and miscellaneous documents. Investigators are reviewing video footage from the scene.
