It is a community forum on Fentanyl Awareness. It will be held in collaboration with the Imperial County Behavioral Health Services and the Probation Department. The Community Forum and Resource Fair will be held Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The event aims to raise awareness about the dangers of Fentanyl within the community and will coincide with Red Ribbon Week. The event will take place at the Jimmie Cannon Theater at Southwest High School, 2001 Ocotillo Drive in El Centro. The Forum will educate attendees on the risks associated with Fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opiod that has become a significant concern in recent years. As part of the event, there will be a resource fair, providing attendees with access to educational resources and support services. Spanish translation will be available.
