The Los Angeles Rams have elevated Royce Freeman from their practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Freeman, who starred at Imperial High School and at Oregon, is expected to play a significant role in the Rams game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday alongside rookie Zach Evans.  Freeman has not played in a regular season game this year. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2018 and spent three years in the mile-high city. He has since been with the Houston Texans, Carolina Panthers, the Texans again in 2022 and on the Rams practice squad this year.
