(Board of Supervisors meet Tuesday)....It is their regular weekly meeting.

They will begin the public portion of the meeting by declaring the month of October as Domestic Violence Awareness month. The Board will also adopt a resolution recognizing Imperial Valley College for receiving the Aspen Institute winner for Community College Excellence.. On the action agenda is funding for a Classification and Compensation Study for the period of October 10th 2023 through December 1st 2025. Behavioral Health will request a resolution authorizing submittal of Sponsoring Institution application to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education for approval to establish and accredited Psychiatry Residency Program and to form a Graduate Medical Education Committee to provide program oversight. Social Services will request two positions be approved. Human Resources will have two issues, and the Supervisors will discuss an agreement for on call Airport Architectural Engineering, Planning and Consulting services for the Imperial County Airport. The Board will also discuss approving the Imperial County Community Benefit Grant Program Phase 3, and authorize the singing of Grant Agreements with individual applicants.
