A man reported that there was someone attempting to steal his SUV.

The report was made to El Centro Police at about 9:24 a. m. Monday in the 500 block of 10th Street.  Police were able to locate a suspect, a 28-year-old man, in the area of 10th and Brighton. The suspect was arrested and booked at Imperial County Jail on charges of being Drunk in Public.
