An officer involved shooting occurred Thursday morning.

Few details have been released so far. The incident occurred at about 6:20 a.m. in the area of 19th and Ocotillo Streets in El Centro. El Centro fire department and amr Ambulance Service responded to the scene. the investigation is underway into circumstances in the shooting and the City of El Centro says they will release more information as it becomes available.
