El Centro police are investigating another vehicle break-in.

The burglary was reported Thursday afternoon. An SUV parked in an El Centro Regional Medical Center parking lot had a window smashed and a purse taken. The purse contained cash as well as a number of other items. Over the last several weeks there has been a rash of vehicle break-ins with similar characteristics in this area of El Centro.
