(Groundbreaking ceremony for South Imperial Avenue Extension),,,,The ceremony will be held July 25 at the corner of Wake Avenue and South Imperial Avenue.

It begins at 8 am. You can access the ceremony by entering Wake Avenue from La Brucherie Avenue. The $5.5 million construct phase is in addition to the $7.7  million already invested in the project for right of way acquisition, utility relocations and design services. The project will feature 4 phases, with the final phase from Valleyview Avenue to McCabe Road.
