(Fentanyl is a very dangerous drug)....The potent narcotic is ravaging the United States.

Fentanyl is reportedly killing tens of thousands of U.S. residents each year. Law Enforcement across the nation along with Homeland Security are campaigning in an attempt to get some type of control over the dangerous opioid. They have attempted to obtain assistance in stopping the importation of Fentanyl from Mexico. So far, Mexico has refused to help. The President of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador contends that fentanyl is exclusively a US problem that he blames on American Social Decay. The Mexican Government says they have officially recorded just 19 deaths from all opioids in 2020, the most recent year for which data are available. The Los Angeles Times has countered the information released by the Mexican government. In an article published by the newspaper, a novel testing initiative in Mexicali found that 23% of more than 1,100 bodies sent to the morgue over the last year tested positive for fentanyl. The research was led by the director of Baja california's Forensic Medical Services. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid as much as 50 times stronger than heroin. They say medical examiners in Mexico traditionally do not perform toxicology tests, making it impossible to know the extent of Mexico's drug problem. The data has also confirmed Mexicali has been experiencing an increasing drug problem over the years.
