A man trying to steal a motorcycle from a local dealership ends up in jail.

El Centro Police responded to Coyne Powersports on South 4th Street at about 5:49 p.m. Tuesday. A man was observed in the dealership trying to start a motorcycle. Police established a perimeter around the store and were able to detain the suspect. The 31-year-old would be thief was arrested and booked into Imperial County Jail on several charges including theft.
