A man sustained minor injuries when he was stabbed in the hip.

The incident was reported at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of East Even Hewes Highway. A 33-year-old man was detained and then arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and booked into Imperial County Jail. The incident remains under investigation.
