U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a reminder for Mother's Day, there are certain restrictions of commodities imported from Mexico.

Mother's Day is one of the busiest times of year for flower imports and there are some restrictions. Chrysanthemums from Mexico are prohibited at the passenger ports of entry. You can n to bring floral arrangements with mums into the country. CBP says that to avoid delays or fines, declare all flowers being brought into the U.S. Travelers should always declare all items acquired abroad to CBP officers to avoid civil or criminal penalties.
