A 1998 green Honda CRV was reported stolen in El Centro Tuesday.

The car was recovered in Brawley a short time later. The car was apparently taken from the area of 4th and Commercial in El Centro sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The car was recovered early Tuesday evening when Brawley Police located the vehicle and arrested a 49-year-old man. The suspect was charged with Auto Theft and the car was returned to the owner.
