The Imperial Valley Food Bank has released their 2022 Annual Report.

The report, released this week, shows that the local food bank served 25,000 people at over 30 locations every month. Over 5.4 million pounds of food, valued at over $10 million was distributed. 700+ seniors aged 60 plus were helped by the new senior food box program. More than 700 students in over 30 local schools are served by the Food Banks Weekend Backpack Program. And the Calfresh Outreach Team helped 1,000 people apply for CalFresh (SNAP) food benefits. The Food Bank relies on over 260 volunteers that gave over 19,000 hours of their time to help feed the Imperial Valley.
