(City of El Centro will be celebrating Earth Day)....It will be on Satrurday, April 22.

The celebration will be at the Prposed Dog Park from 10 am to 12 noon, at 698 Park Avenue in El Centro. The theme this year is Invest In Our Planet. The Earth Day celebration will feature a free tree steward workshop, tree planting, and festive crafts activities for  people of all ages.. Participants will learn about local environmental issues and ways to positively impact their communities. El Centro Mayor Martha Cardenas Singh says the City of El Centro is excited to celebrate Earth Day and offer an event the community can learn all the different ways that we can protect our Earth and offer children a better and safer future. In addition to the educational exhibits and activities, there will be music, local food vendors and more.
