(Minor Earthquake)....It was recorded at 9:48 Friday morning.

The US Geological Survey says they recorded the temblor about 35 miles south of Ocotillo. It was in the open desert in Baja california. The USGS says the minor quake measured a magnitude 3.1. No damage or injury has been reported.
