Mariachi Sol de Mexico will perform at the Jimmie Cannon Theater Saturday, March 25, 2023.

During the school day on Friday, March 24th, professional musicians from Sol de Mexico will provide workshops for students at Southwest, Central and Calexico High Schools and El Centro middle schools. These student musicians will have the opportunity to perform as the opening act for Saturday's performance. Sol de Mexico's Jose Hernandez said, " Returning to El Centro to work with Mariachi music students is an honor for Mariachi Sol. Our new show Leyendas will bring back the beautiful songs that mariachi legends left us through their music". The concert on Friday night begins at 7:00 p.m. Concert tickets are available for purchase on line at the Mariachi Sol de Mexico website.
