(Strong Gusty winds to return)....For at least one day.

The National Weather Service says a High Wind Warning will be in effect from 4 am to 7 pm Wednesday. The forecast for Imperial County is for Southwest winds 30 to 40 miles per hour with wind gusts up to 75 miles per hour in some areas. The Weather Service says impacts will be very difficult driving conditions, especially for larger vehicle traveling along roads with crosswinds. Light, unsecured objects will become airborne, and Moderate tree and minor structural damage possible. Lowered visibility will also be possible due to blowing dust and sand. Extra caution is recommended for driving. Reduced winds are expected Thursday, with light winds on Friday, the first day of the California Mid-winter Fair and Fiesta.
