(New members of the Brawley Police Department)....Brawley Police Chief Jimmy Duran recently introduced the new members.

Three new officers, Mark Cano, Ralph Espinoza and Phil Magana were introduced, along with Jax, a new K-9 unit. Jax has actually been with the department since January when he graduated from the academy. The one year old K-9 has been working with his assigned officer to better fulfill his duties of detecting illegal drugs, large amounts of currency and illegal firearms.
