(The El Centro City Council to Reorganize)...The reorganization will be held next week.

It is scheduled for Thursday, December 15. Martha Cardena Songh is expected to be appointed Mayor for the city. The current Mayor, Tomas Oliva, who was re-elected in November, and newly elected Sonia Carter will take the oath of office to begin their terms as City Council members. The event will be held in the El Centro City Council Chambers and Courtyard, beginning at 5 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
