The National Weather Service (NWS) says mild and dry weather will prevail through the weekend, but a potential weather system should be here by the middle of next week.

Cooler temperatures along with strong winds and a chance of rain will begin to hit the Valley Monday night. Daytime highs will be in the mid- to upper-70's with overnight lows in the mid- to upper 40's. The chance of rain and possibly thunderstorms with small hail will remain through Wednesday.
