(Board of Supervisors agree to send a letter this week)....The letter will be sent to the California Energy Commission.

It deals with the Board's response to the Blue-Ribbon Commission on California Lithium Extraction Draft report. The County went over the draft report and found it did not adequately meet the eight original objectives of the Blue-Ribbon Commission on Lithium Extraction. Among the objectives include support of further development of geothermal power, identify market opportunities, determine methods to overcome technical and economic challenges currently limiting lithium extraction and other key areas. The Board said they will continue to advocate for the development of Lithium valley for the sake of the County, residents, local economy and the country.
