The site is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The El Centro Police Department is collaborating with Rite-Aide to provide the repository for expired, unwanted and unused medications. The disposal receptacle is located in the lobby of the El Centro Police Department. Officials say this is a supportive effort in preventing accidents and promoting safety and well being of children in the community.
