(Public Health Department releases results of smoking survey)….They say Imperial County was among 12 counties surveyed.
Goodwin Simon Strategic Research conducted the poll. They say results indicate Imperial County tenants support protection from secondhand smoke in multi-unit housing complexes. The findings come as part of a poll conducted by the American Lung Association for C4 Health, a project of the Public Health Institute, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. They say the purpose of the survey was to explore tenants’ attitudes about secondhand smoke among renters and to assess support for possible rules restricting smoking in outdoor common areas and inside apartment units.
