(Brawley Cattle Call Queen contest)…It is back this year.
There was a short hiatus last year while officials reorganized. This year the Cattle Call Queen Royal Association says the Queen contest should be the best ever. Officials say they have a total of 11 candidates for the contest. Two of the candidates are from Brawley and there are 9 from Imperial and El Centro. Orientation for the 11 candidates will be Thursday, August 9th at the Stockman’s Club, starting at 6:00 pm. The Association is very excited about this year’s Cattle Queen, Teen Queen and Little Miss Contests. Cattle Call Week is held in November.
