(Election update)…Ballots are still being counted from the June 3rd Primary.
The latest unofficial report was released Tuesday. While most candidates received more votes, they have not changed any of the races. There has been a slight change in voter turnout. The totals now indicate a 28.98 % voter turnout, with a majority of the ballots cast coming from the Vote by Mail or Absentee ballots. Election Day voter turnout was a dismal 10.10%. Registrar of voters Debra Porter says there are about 750 ballots still to be counted. She said they are not expected to change any of the results. The left over ballots being counted are Vote by Mail and Provisional ballots turned in on Election Day.
