(Holtville has a budget)….The spending plan was approved Monday.
The City Council barely had a quorum during the City Council meeting. The 3 council members attending the meeting voted 3-0 to adopt the budget for the next fiscal year. The council said they were comfortable taking the vote, since all members had received all the budget information at previous budget workshops. The new spending plan includes total revenues of $2,556,567. Expenditures come in at $2,530,045. That leaves the city with a $26,524 surplus.
