(Unofficial election results set-up run-offs)…They will be held in November.
As it stands right now, there is no clear winner in either of the County Supervisor races. In District one it appears the run-off will be between incumbent John Renison and Daniel Romero. For District 5 the run-off will be between incumbent Ray Castillo and former Supervisor Wally Leimgruber. To win a race out-right a candidate would need over 50 % of the vote. The Assessor’s race also appears to be headed for a run-off in November between Carlos Zaragoza and Robert Menvielle. The run-offs will be held during the November General Election. Voter turnout Tuesday was a dismal 21.1 percent. That could change a little once all ballots are counted.
