(Free outreach and assistance to the low income)…… Access to Independence has partnered with Aging and Independence Services.
They are providing free outreach and assistance to low income residents who may be eligible for low income subsidies, medicare savings program and or Medicare Part D as well as free education aimed at preventing disease and promoting wellness and education to beneficiaries about new wellness benefits. They are looking for eligible individuals to assist in applying for any of the programs that would save them money on prescription costs or in some cases, eliminate co-pays. The assistance is free and they say applying for the programs does not interfere with any benefit an individual may be receiving. For more information contact Judith Brown at 760-768-2044.
