(Supervisors to discuss air pollution issues)…The Board will spend the morning Tuesday as the Air Pollution Control Board.
Two items will be on the Supervisor’s action agenda Tuesday dealing with Air Pollution Control District issues. The first is possible action regarding nine Memorandum of Understanding reflecting awarded funds under Rule 310 Operational Development Fee, as recommended by the Rule 310 Review Committee. The second issue is possible action regarding the expenditure of $270,000 from the Clean Air Fund to assist in the purchase of School Bus Retrofits and other retrofits or replacements for Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program and Imperial County Weights and Measures, as requested by Air Pollution Control Officer Brad Poiriez. The Board convenes their weekly meeting at 8:30 Tuesday morning in the Board Chambers at the Administration Center on Main Street in El Centro.
