(Social Media Threat)….It was discovered early in the morning Wednesday.
Superintendent Bryan Thomason called KXO Radio at 5:30 in the morning to say Teacher and student safety came first, and classes at Central Union High School would be canceled while El Centro Police investigate the threat. Officials said there were ways to track posts on line. They said they were confident an arrest would be made. The El Centro Threat comes on the heals of Social Media Threat that closed a Carlsbad school Monday and Tuesday. In that case, officials say a 15 year old was arrested for posting threats on Instagram. El Centro investigators say they are not yet prepared to release any information surrounding the local threat.
