KXO RADIO - Suspect pursued and possibly shot

(Pursuit ends in shooting)….The police are releasing very little information. According to sources, the pursuit began in Imperial, at just after 8:00 Friday morning. The suspect was driving a burgundy BMW. Police chased the suspect into El Centro, along La Brucherie Road. Sources say shots were fired near the intersection of Ross and La Brucherie. The suspect vehicle ran into wall at the Dahlia Substation. The suspect was taken from the scene by Gold Cross Ambulance. Sources say he has since been flown to a San Diego area hospital. His condition is not known. El Centro Police Department is investigating the incident, and they are releasing no information at this time.
