(Supervisors to hold special meeting Wednesday)….All action items on the Tuesday agenda were postponed or pulled. Only three Supervisors attended the regular meeting, making it impossible to vote on any item that required the expenditure of funds. To spend money, the Board would need a 4/5ths majority vote. Board Chairman Louis Fuentes reportedly hurt a toe and could not attend Tuesday’s meeting. County officials did not say why District Four Supervisor Gary Wyatt did not attend. The Board scheduled a special meeting for 1:00 pm Wednesday afternoon, in anticipation at least four Supervisors will attend. |
