Another convicted sex offender illegally enters U.S.

(Convicted sex offender caught sneaking back across the border)….El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents made the arrest near Calexico. Agents from the Calexico Station arrested the Mexican national after he made an illegal entry into the United States east of Calexico. Record checks revealed the subject has a conviction for Rape by Force and Lewd acts with a child under 14 years of age. He had been sentenced to a five-year term for the offense. The Border Patrol did not say where the crimes were committed or where the man served his sentence. They did say the man is subject to prosecution for re-entry after deportation.
