(Sheriff’s investigators are looking into a possible homicide)….Sources say a body was discovered in a car near Salton City. A caller reported to the North County Sheriff’s Department Saturday night. The call was made at close to 9:30 at night, and indicated a Nissan maxima had been parked nearby for at least two days. Deputies responded and found the body of 27-year-old Cornelio Lopez Zendejas. The body was found in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Investigators have not said how the man died. Sergeant Charles Lucas said all information had to come from the investigators. The investigators are not releasing a lot of information, at this time.
