(A large turnout for Cattle Call Parade)….Chamber Officials say the 51st Annual Parade was as well attended as any of the others. The Theme this year was “Down the Road to Cowboy Town.” The Sweepstakes Trophy went to the Border Patrol entry. The Mayors Trophy was presented to Star Route 4-H. The Queens Trophy went to National Beef. The Westmorland Chamber of Commerce picked up the Community Service Trophy. The Ooo La La Dance Studio picked up the Commercial trophy, Brawley Christian was awarded the Youth Organization trophy. The religious trophy was awarded to Sacred Heart. |
