(El Centro Mortuary vandalized)…Somebody broke into Hems Brothers Mortuary on 4th Street over the weekend. El Centro Police Commander Ron Meredith says the incident is being investigated as a Burglary. He says the suspects broke into the Mortuary and broke furniture, windows, pictures, pretty much anything they could get their hands on. An official damage estimate is not available, but Meredith said it is in the thousands of dollars. The Commander says there are no suspects at this time. The incident is still under investigation. |
