PEORIA, Ariz. -- The San Diego Padres announced today that they have agreed to terms with 22 players on contracts for the 2007 season. The club also announced that they have renewed the contract of infielder Adrian Gonzalez for 2007. Executive Vice President/General Manager Kevin Towers made the announcement from the club's Spring Training complex in Peoria, AZ.

Agreeing to terms were right-handed pitchers Clay Hensley, Cla Meredith, Heath Bell, Scott Cassidy, Mike Adams, Mike Thompson, Tim Stauffer, Andrew Brown, Kevin Cameron, Leo Rosales and Jared Wells, left-handed pitchers Royce Ring, Justin Hampson, Ryan Ketchner and Sean Thompson, catcher Rob Bowen, infielders Kevin Kouzmanoff, Paul McAnulty, Luis Cruz and Craig Stansberry, and outfielders Terrmel Sledge and Jack Cust.

All players on the Padres 40-man roster are now under contract.
