San Diego Chargers Upset Indianapolis Colts in Playoffs PDF Print E-mail

Indianapolis, Indiana - In one of the greatest football games in NFL playoff history the San Diego Chargers edged the Indianapolis Colts 28-24 despite injuries to Quarterback Philip Rivers and LaDainian Tomlinson in the upset effort.
The Chargers were led by quarterback Billy Volek who rushed for the winning touchdown late in the forth quarter. Philip Rivers threw for 264 yards on 13-19 throwing 3 touchdowns and a single interception. Michael Turner led the Chargers in rushing with 71 yards on 17 carries while LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for 28 yards on 7 carries.
The Chargers will play the New England Patriots (17-0) in New England next Sunday at 10:00am PST. Listen to the Chargers take on the Patriots live on KXO Radio AM1230 - El Centro, California.
