The San Diego Chargers (1-3) fell to the Kansas City Chiefs (2-2) at home in front of a very surprised crowd 30-16. The Chargers fans booed Phillip Rivers throughout the second half.

Larry Johnson gained 123 yards on 25 carries for the over achieving Chiefs. LaDainian Tomlinson finally emerged for the Chargers, gaining 132 yards on 20 carries.

The crowd seemed to enjoy chanting Marty – Marty – Marty, in their state of displeasure, sending a message to ownership and team management.
