Chargers fans across the country will finally have an opportunity to show off the Bolts’ new look as the newly-redesigned jerseys go on sale starting Thursday at Champs Sports stores nationwide.

“This is going to be an exciting day for Charger fans everywhere,” said Chargers Director of Marketing Programs and Business Development A.G. Spanos. “The excitement that this new look has created has exceeded even our expectations. I really wouldn’t be surprised if the jerseys don’t stay on the shelves for very long. It’ll be great to see everyone wearing them in the crowd at all of our games, but especially on Aug. 12 when we wear them for the first time against Seattle.”

Champs Sports has approximately 600 stores across the country that will feature the new Chargers jerseys, including three stores in San Diego at Parkway Plaza in El Cajon, the Promenade Mall in Temecula and Plaza Bonita in National City.

All three of the team’s redesigned jerseys – Navy (home), White (away) and the Power blue – will be available for purchase. Champs Sports stores will also offer the team’s official 2007 Draft Day hat, along with other team merchandise and apparel.

This Friday, April 27, fans will have a chance to meet Chargers defensive end Luis Castillo, cornerback Quentin Jammer and Pro Bowl wide receiver and special teams standout Kassim Osgood as they sign autographs and greet fans at the Champs Sports store at Plaza Bonita in National City from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
