Finishing his career in New England after having played with the San Diego Chargers from 2001-2004, Doug Flutie decides to hang them up. He captivated fans in three football leagues, which includes Canada.

Flutie possessed a one-of-a kind style that showed the football world he wasn't too small and that he had the heart of a lion.

"I'm just a big kid," Flutie said, at a news conference Monday. "I enjoy playing. ... It could be in the backyard as far as I'm concerned."

Football fans everywhere will certainly miss Doug Flutie and his football flair.
