San Diego, California - The San Diego Zoo's 17-week-old giant panda cub has taken her first steps and received the last in a series of vaccinations to protect the cub from disease. The cub reached a new milestone this week when she was bestowed the name Zhen Zhen (pronounced jun jun), which means precious.

The cub weighed 14 pounds and measured 2.5 feet at her weekly physical exam Wednesday. Veterinarians say Zhen Zhen is not fully mobile yet, but her walking skills will continue to improve.

Bai Yun and the cub can be seen 24 hours a day through the Zoo's Panda Cam at www.sandiegozoo.org.
