(Chicken wings being recalled)….Over 52,000 pounds of Tyson Chicken Wings.
The recall is due to possible adulteration, according to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety Inspection Service. The problem was discovered when Tyson Foods Inc received complaints that the fully cooked buffalo style chicken had an off odor and some consumers reported symptoms of mild illness. The affected product was shipped to stores nationwide. The recall involves 28-ounce bags containing Tyson Anytizers Fully Cooked Hot Wings that are coated with a flavorful hot, tangy sauce. The packages have a use by/sell by date of October 24, 2016 and October 25, 2016. The establishment number P-13456 can be found inside the USDA mark of inspection and on the back of the bag above the cooking instructions. It is suggested the product not be consumed and either thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
