(Deported sex offender arrested)….He was found trying to re-enter the country.

It happened this past weekend. Border Patrol agents found three individuals about a mile north of the US/Mexico International Boundary. All three were found to be in the US illegally. They were taken to a nearby Border Patrol Station for processing. A records check determined one of the men, a 37 year old, had a 2006 conviction for Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Child under 14 in California. He had been sentenced to a year in jail and subsequently deported back to Mexico. The man was arrested and turned over to Homeland Security to face Federal charges for illegal re-entry and deportation.
