Second Death Linked To Cucumbers

A second death has been reported in a nationwide salmonella outbreak believed caused by tainted cucumbers.

A Texas woman died in late August and according to the Texas Department of State Health Services , salmonella was a contributing factor. A 99-year old San Diego woman died in mid-August according to California officials.

Health officials in several states have found strains of salmonella in cucumbers that were grown in Mexico and distributed by a San Diego produce company.The company recalled the " Limited Edition " brand of cucumbers.
