Governor signs SB 738

(Access Bill signed)…The Governor signed SB 738 Thursday.

The bill is a follow-up to SB 1266 authored by Senate Minority Leader Bob Huff. The legislation is designed to protect school children from serious and sometimes fatal anaphylactic allergic attacks. SB 1266, signed into law last year, requires public schools to stock epinephrine auto injectors on campus so critically important medicine can be administered quickly and safely if a student suffers from a serious anaphylactic allergy reaction during school hours.
