(County has 3 new therapists)…The announcement comes from Imperial County Behavioral Health Services.
They said three of their staff members recently earned their state marriage and family therapist licenses. Director Michael Horn says to receive the license from the State Board of Behavioral Health, each had to complete 3,000 hours of client interaction and pass two intensive examinations. The new marriage and family therapists are; Program Supervisor Natalia Rodriguez Flores, Program Supervisor Juan Jose Flores and Mental Health Counselor Maricruz Bermudez. Horn said having staff complete these licensing requirements allows Behavioral Health Services to better serve the needs of the community.
