(A rare June rain)…It could happen this week.
The National Weather Service says Hurricane Andres is expected to push moisture into the Desert Southwest late this week. It is expected to bring rain to Southeast California and into Arizona. The Weather Service says showers are expected to develop Thursday night. They say additional moisture from Tropical Storm Blanca may also move into the area this weekend, allowing for a continued chance of rainfall and unsettled conditions through early next week. The Weather Service says it is possible the storms could bring localized areas of heavy rain, with minor flooding of low-lying areas and washes.
